Jan 1, 7 p.m. Special Dzambhala wealth potential ceremony.

Tashi Delek and Season's Greetings to all,
Just a quick reminder that there will not be any meditation session at DKC on December 25th, Christmas Day.
However, on December 30th, 31st, and January 1st, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the DKC monastics will be performing a traditional Dzambhala ceremony and retreat.  People are welcome to come by and quietly sit in with the monastics as they perform the ceremonies and rituals during those hours each of the three days.
The main event: the evening of January 1st  at 7:00 PM there will be the concluding prayers and ceremonies of the Dzambhala retreat.  All are invited to participate, but anyone who wishes to do so must arrive no later than 7:30 PM.  The gate to the monastery will be closed at that time.  Another reminder and additional information will be sent out as that weekend approaches.
For those who can't attend, but would like to participate in the blessings, we can put your name on the altar. If anyone wishes to send a donation to request prayers, we can also do that. People can send names or pictures.

We have a wonderful set of scheduled events for the month of January:
January 8th             Drupon Samten will lead the meditation (focus of session to be announced)
January 15th           Ngakpa Wangdu will continue with the ongoing topics of the Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism
January 22nd           Dharma Movie Night (suggested donation = $10.00).   Specific film to be announced later.
All the above sessions begin at 7:00 PM
January 29th &   Saturday and Sunday Phowa Retreat - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days.  We will probably have a potluck lunch both of those days, but more details will be sent out as the time January 30th       approaches.   Please plan to join us to share this special opportunity.
We wish for everyone a happy, peaceful, and safe Holiday Season and a very wonderful New Year filled with many blessings.
In the Dharma,
All of us at DKC
