All, due to the RAIN forecast for Sunday, we are swapping the Saturday and Sunday morning programs updated below. The Tantric Lama Dances will (now) be on Saturday morning and the Achi empowerment will (now) be on Sunday morning. The Relics blessing ceremony will remain on Saturday afternoon.
You may attend all or any single/partial day of this retreat program.

2-day retreat Feb. 19th -20th 10am -5pm Milarepa Teachings, meditation, practice and Vajra Song Tsok offering with Drupon Samten Rinpoche at DKC. Optional evening Dharma protector’s practice at 7pm. Please bring your own lunch or if you would like to share for a potluck lunch or you can go out to eat. Coffee, tea, water will be provided. Suggested donation $30 per day. Losar (Tibetan New Year) Celebration Saturday Feb. 21st at DKC. (Note: day changed from before)
Lama Dance main public prgram starts at 10am. So please don't worry if you are not able to join for the early morning monastic sessions. Please come to see these sacred tantric lama dances that are only offered once a year.
Experience the Tibetan culture celebrated at Losar. You are welcome to arrive for the early morning sessions if you can or come a little later. 5am – 6am Preparation Dharma Protectors ceremony in the shrine room. 6am -7am breakfast. 7am Raising the prayer flags and Tsongs (incense) offering outside. 8am Kata (white scarf) offering for His Holiness Dalai Lama’s throne and Guru Yoga practice with Tsok (food) offering. 10am Sacred Tantric Lama Dances outside for the benefit of the environment and world peace. Followed by a potluck lunch and Tibetan cultural celebration. Everyone is welcome. Please carpool if you can and bring your favorite food to share in this special occasion. Suggested donation: $20. We will move the SILENT AUCTION to Saturday as well. We have several precious Dharma items and other beautiful items that will be there.
Relics Blessing Ceremony exhibition on Saturday February 21st in the afternoon (around 3pm) after the Lama Dances and a lunch break. We are very fortunate to have these rare and precious items given by various teachers and by students offered to Drupon. We are happy to share these blessings with everyone.
